Quick Update

Wow... Donations keep rolling in, and I'm still working to keep up.

Thanks to Jo for helping out by shipping out 60 boxes of Rice-A-Roni and I've just placed an order for 216 boxes through an online grocer.

Our current totals are:

$702 donated from over 80 different people

366 total boxes of Rice-A-Roni shipped to NBC

Great job, everyone. Much more Rice-A-Roni is yet to be shipped, so stay tuned for updates.

As for tonight's episode... what more can be said? This show continues to deliver, and it's quite sad that all that's left is Wednesday's episode (don't forget!) unless we can somehow make a difference. Even if we can't, at least there's going to be a lot of food going to charity and the people at NBC will know that we care.

I emailed RiceARoni with info on all of this, and links to all the sites with information. They wished us luck but were unable to participate, since their cdharity type efforts are already maxed. i am going to reply asking where we can find coupons and maybe they will send us a few!

I have a question. If i were to donate money to the fund to ship out rice-a-roni boxes does the bill come directly to my house or is there even a bill? could someone fill me in please.

also the amount of boxes that you said you have sent out is that only through this site or is that how many total meaning individuals who sent out boxes themselves and emailed you how many they sent too.

I got a reply from RAR again - What a nice CS person!!:)

"Thanks for asking for information on finding coupons for Rice-A-Roni.
You can find coupons from time to time in:

*local Sunday newspapers.
*various healthy living magazines.
*specially marked packaging.
*store circulars

We don't usually do this, but we'd be happy to send a couple of coupons
to help as a one-time gesture of goodwill. You should see these
coupons in your mailbox in 7 to 10 days.

We're glad you are fighting to keep your favorite show on the
air while helping hungry families this holiday season. Personally, it
took 13 years of lobbying by fans of my favorite (childhood) show for it
to be offered on DVD, so don't give up!

jacks12 -

If you donate though PayPal, there is no bill, however, to use paypal you must either have an existing PayPal balance to pay with, or you'll need a credit card. Your credit card bill would then have the charge on it.

thank you very much that helps a lot. thanks for the info.

on a happier note NBC now has all the Journeyman episodes online!! this is good news people!! Kevin Falls mentioned that NBC has never had such a respocse to one of their shows, meaning that our efforts are being noticed. So we need to fight harder that ever now!! Lets bring this show back together! Who is with me?!
