Another bulk order!

Just ordered 288 more boxes of Rice-A-Roni. Updated Totals:

Donations: $2,201
Boxes of Rice-A-Roni ordered: 1,326
Estimated weight of Rice-A-Roni: 580lbs

I've lifted the $10 donation "limit" and upped it to $25 (as long as Amazon.com continues to carry Rice-A-Roni.) If you donated $10 before and want to donate more, feel free!

The previous order (from my last entry) shipped in seven separate boxes via UPS and is scheduled to arrive on the 28th - this Friday.

Oh, and someone commented asking if I'm ordering a variety of Rice-A-Roni... absolutely! They're getting all sorts of Rice-A-Roni along with gift messages addressed to Jeff Zucker asking for renewal of Journeyman.

Are we going to pool money to play a New York Times ad? Because I would be really interested in donating for that... publicity is very important.

I am interested too Beth in donating for the ad as well. I think it will be great and something that hasn't been done by fans before(that I know of).

so i am confused about the $10 limit now being $25 limit. does that mean the most we can donate is $25? sorry but i am confused can someone explain this to me?

Anonymous said...

Yes it sounds like the most you can donate at one time is $25

So is there any word on the show? Scifi.com made it sound as though the end of the series is a done deal. It's a great show. just told a couple of friends who were unaware of the show's ratings problems and they were shocked. They love it.

So far no word but it doesn't look good. Tell your friends to join the campagin to save the show. Sign the petitions get involved.

Is this effort combined with SaveJourneyman.net? Because if not, it should be. Both groups would benefit from combining resources - particularly for funding a NY Times ad. After all, you're both working for the same cause.

Leave a light on for Journeyman!

Love it! You should post the UPS Tracking link so we can watch the Rice-A-Roni journey unfold before us.

Keep those Amazon orders going everyone! We need to clean them out again!!!

crossoverman - We're "working together" with SaveJourneyman.net in support of the show. At this time, I'm the only one taking donations for Rice-A-Roni and making bulk mailings.

jacks12 -

I had previously had a $10 limit becuase I wasn't sure how much capacity I'd have to order Rice-A-Roni. Right now, that's not an issue, so I've raised the limit to $25. If you donated in the past (any amount) feel free to donate again (any amount up to an additional $25). Since ordering through Amazon is a piece of cake, the increased donations aren't a feasibility problem.

Thanks!

jacks12 - There's many things besides donating that people can do to help. Even writing a letter, you can have an impact for just the cost of a stamp, and helping to spread the word about Journeyman by telling friends, co-workers, classmates, and posting online about it can help a ton.

That really goes for anyone, there's no way anyone should feel guilty if they can't contribute financially - as I said, there's many ways that people can help, including many ways that are more important than monetary donations.

Here's one idea!
AICN.com's JM fans are talking about the fans doing a Downloadarama day on Jan 7, 2008, 10pm ET on nbc.com!

Everyone watch "Love of a Lifetime" ep 1 at that time.

And every monday after that, the next eps in sequence.

Jan 7th! see u there!!

that'd be fun to have a ups tracking link to watch!

save journeyman

I have been telling my friends and family about the show and the campaign to save it. I have also been emailing the executives at NBC, and going to save journeyman sites and trying to get people to help anyway they can. I have also been watching the episodes and plan on watching a love of a lifetime on Jan 7th like we are planning. The only thing i have left is to donate that is why i said tha i needed to get that done. I love this show and think it is rediculous that they want to get rid of it and am planning on doing whatever i can to save this show

SO TO EVERYONE, LETS SAVE THIS SHOW. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Hi Argentina and the rest of the world's JM fans!!
I want to cry too, but dont cry! We're not done yet!!
Tell your friends to watch online as long as nbc.com has it up.

Write to nbc and tell them you love this show.
Come back here often for current news and
go to http://savejourneyman.net/

Don't give up your support!

I think the newspaper ad idea is amazing. It should also prompt people to watch the episodes on nbc.com.
I also like the idea about increasing traffic on the journeyman site and downlaoding or rewatching episodes. I would think they get reports about hits to their site.

Heh heh, they must be buried in the stuff. I'll send my box with a personal note.

Rock on!
